No Keys!

From Tongariro, we headed north up through Waitomo, for a cave exploration, then stayed a night at Kawhia, where there was a tepid water beach (maybe our hole wasn't deep enough). Then we moved on to a rainy Raglan where we took in some sets, from the viewpoint. After that, we drove north and spent a night at Orere Point, with views of the Coromandel Peninsula. Upping and moving three nights in a row certainly filled in the days - once you've taken a tent down, driven for a few hours, put it up again and eaten three times, there isn't much of the day left for holidaying. Still beats being at work though!

We're now in Auckland, getting ready to go to Oz. We've sold and given away most of our camping kit and sold Boycey today - or rather, left him at the auctioneers. We were a bit of a sorry sight, walking away from him - we'd forgotten to get rid of a couple of pillows which were destined for a City Mission bin, so we ended up wandering the street, looking for food, with raggedy bedding tucked under our arms!
