But with 4 days to go we managed to find one that was to our almost exact spec :-)

After spending a few days in Melbourne we went to get our campervan, somehow we managed to rent a van from the furthest suburb from the centre, it took an hours train journey, then a 20-30 trudge with full packs and hand luggage, anyways we got there and then found out there was a courtesy bus available to pick you up... thanks.
Well we have spent 5 nights in him (at time of writing) and he defiantly has a character of his own (Krusty the campervan) he bounces around the road like a clown car (think his 10 year old suspension has given up and been replaced with bouncy springs). But he is great otherwise, spacious enough for at least 15 fully kitted up clowns.
Gas cooker, fridge, kettle, microwave, sink (with leaky tap), plugs for laptops :-) storage space all good. Only comments for improvements are the curtains (which are defiantly showing their age) and the stupid stupid wooden ridges in the bed, its like we have to lay in our allotted groves or you get a wooden stick in your back.
Detailed pics can be found here for your enjoyment :-)
